Scope of Work:

T&H Solutions has an opportunity for an Information Specialist/ Knowledge Engineer position at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. The IS/K Engineer will support all facets of the Communication Focal Point (CFP) in support of the 844th Communications Group at all three locations to include; Joint Base Anacostia Bolling (JBAB), Joint Base Andrews (JBA) and the Pentagon. This includes supporting the Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) and Headquarters Air Force (HAF) customers on both NIPRNet and SIPRNet domains. Travel is not typically required, but contingencies for 24/7 operations may demand an exception. Candidate will be responsible for coordinating efforts, documenting response actions, and reporting statuses according to standardized procedures and instructions. Candidate will support Change Management (ChM) processes, including scheduling system maintenance. Candidate will also support network and system monitoring when required. Daily and direct interactions with CFP leaders, functional area leaders and other support personnel is required.

 

Required Skills:

  • Create briefings from approved templates for daily presentations. 
  • Draft recurring status reports for network incidents.
  • Demonstrate effective time management and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • BS degree in a relevant technical discipline and 5-10 years or prior relevant experience.
  • Current Security+ certificate.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with BMC Remedy or other trouble ticketing systems
  • Experience with Department of Defense, Air Force, or other military services
  • Experience with network operations, operations centers, and/or 24/7 shift schedules

 

Schedule:  Sunday – Thursday (0600 – 1430)
